Alert: King County Writ of Restitution Fee Increase
We want to share a heads-up regarding a fee change from the King County Sheriff’s Office – Civil Unit. Effective February 2, 2026, the Civil Unit will implement an increase to its mileage fee, with the average increase ranging from approximately $1–$5 per service, depending on location.
At the time of this post, the Sheriff’s Office website has not yet been updated to reflect the new mileage fee schedule. For reference, you can view the Civil Unit’s page here:
