2027 Rental Registration
Landlords and property managers: This is your friendly reminder that the open registration period to register long-term rental properties for 2027 is now open through December 31, 2026.
Rental registration is an annual process, and a new application will need to be submitted on the City’s Permit Portal during the open registration period each year to maintain valid registration. In-Person Rental Registration Event
If you could use some help with the online registration process, City staff are hosting an In-Person Rental Registration Event* at Olympia City Hall on October 29 between 5-7pm.
While RSVPs are not required, it is helpful for the staff to be better prepared for the folks planning to attend. If you’d like to stop by, please “Reserve a Spot” on their Eventbrite page here: In-Person Rental Registration Event
You’ll have a chance to learn more about the program, ask questions, provide valuable feedback, and get hands-on registration assistance from their team. Some community partners, as well as some of the inspectors currently on the City’s Qualified Rental Housing Inspectors list will also be tabling to meet you and provide information about the resources and services they offer.
*There will be a sign-up sheet so staff can assist those seeking registration assistance in order of arrival. In the event you need to leave before receiving help or staff aren’t able to assist you before the event ends, they will reach out at the contact information provided to be sure you get the help and information you need.
Light refreshments will be provided, and coloring materials will be available for any children in attendance.
